Nora has been making a lot of progress with her attempts at crawling… check her out!
She’s doing so good! Before too long we’ll really be in trouble trying to keep up with her!
Let’s see… what else happened this weekend? Not much really. Saturday, Jeremy and I took turns hanging out with Nora while the other picked up clutter around the house. We managed to get quite a bit done. Sunday, Mom & Dad took Nora for the day and Jeremy and I set out to get the entire house cleaned and the office cleared out. The house did get cleaned and it looks great! The office is cleared out a lot and there are just a few things that we’ll have to work on during the week. Yeah!
I’m hoping to get a chance to buy some paint this week and hopefully get the walls taped off in the office/nursery by the time I go to bed Friday. Since it’s a long weekend I would like to get the room painted and ready to be able to move Nora into it soon.

I’m also hoping to create some of my own art to hang on the walls… something similar to this…
That shouldn’t be too hard… I just need to go one day and buy the paint and canvases then find an hour or so to actually do it. If I’m lucky, I can do that this weekend while Jeremy is painting the room – since I won’t be allowed to paint the walls.
Now just to find the paint color for the walls. I’m thinking something tan/light brown – neutral. Something with some definite shade of color to it, but not too dark. The furniture for that room is a dark espresso color, so the walls can’t be too dark. Any suggestions??
So Whitney is out of town for several weeks so she wasn’t able to do Nora’s 8 month photos. I couldn’t just skip them because… well, I can’t. I’m actually working on a year long project with these monthly photos so, I really do need them for that. Anyway… so, since time was running out, I decided I’d take my shot at doing the photo shoot myself this month. I must say, they turned out pretty darn good. It is getting even harder to crawl around on the ground at Nora’s level though so I don’t think I’ll be able to do this much longer. I took several hundred photos (of course) but these 20+ are my favorites.
So last week I got a chance to go scrap a bit in Mom’s new scrapbook room… here’s the result!
I can’t even begin to remember where all of the supplies came from (I need to be better about that… I know). The felt flowers are by K&Co., I think the paper is BoBunny. The little white metal smile tag is by Making Memories and so is the jeweled flower (in the top right corner).
