Sorry it’s taken a bit to get an update posted… but I have been just the slightest bit busy!
We are now a family of 4!
Sarah Quinn was born on November 10 at 12:49pm
weighing in at 8 lbs and 18.5 inches long
The induction went great. I was actually able to get my epidural this time around so that helped. The only thing is that the numbing kinda gives you this itchy feeling… and that was annoying, but totally worth it! All went well and it was really nice to be able to have a “normal” delivery and then get to have Sarah in my hospital room with me and of course for us all to be able to go home together. So much nicer this way!!
Nora still isn’t quite so sure what to think of Sarah… she’s definitely curious about her and keeps a good eye on her when she’s around.
I’ll be back with pictures and such later!!!

We get to meet our newest addition tomorrow!! Went in for my last appointment this pregnancy this morning. Dr. said that if I were 6cm or more then she was going to send me to the hospital. Well… turns out I was at 6cm exactly, 80% effaced and she’s all the way at +2!! Soooo… she went ahead and scheduled me in at 5am tomorrow morning.
It was good to have a bit of notice and so I was able to stop by work and wrap up a few loose ends, then head home to relax and get a few things taken care of today. Mom came over and helped with some laundry, hanging a few things in the girls’ room, making some dinner, and various other miscellaneous things that needed to get done. Thanks Mom!
Joe & Kathy agreed to keep Nora tonight so, she’s got a sleepover tonight.
That helps a lot because we’ll have to get up at 3-ish to get ready and head out of the house by 4:15 hopefully. So the plan is to get to bed early and hopefully sleep really well.
More details to come once she’s here!!

So I’ve been a bit busy lately and haven’t had the chance to update here… sorry. Let’s fix that now though…
I’ve mainly got photos to share, which is the fun part anyway
Halloween was lots of fun… I actually ended up not having to work that day, which was wonderful! Nora kind of slept in and then we all got ready and went out to run a few errands – IHop for breakfast, and a trip to Target… then stopped by the grandparents houses to let Nora visit in her cute little ladybug costume. We ended up staying out much longer that I wanted to that day, but it was lots of fun in the end.

And with Great Aunt Suzi
Here’s a few more by herself… (because she’s just the cutest little ladybug ever!)

Oh yeah, and here’s some that I mentioned in an earlier post… when Grandma & Whitney took Nora to the park. They had a wonderful time!! I can’t wait to take Nora back to that park myself!!

In other news, I’m still pregnant! It’s a good thing as today I am 37 weeks and that is “officially” full term! Not many people believed that I’d still be pregnant at this point – including my Dr. But, I am! Yeah! We went for an ultrasound this past Tuesday to check growth. They estimate her to currently be 7-7.5 lbs… average for this point in pregnancy is about 5-5.5 lbs. So, she’s kind of a big girl. That’s just fine by me though. We’re still hanging in there… as of Tuesday I’m dilated to 5cm… so about half way there. Next appointment is Monday morning!
Oh, and provided we make it that far… I am scheduled to go in for an induction on November 16th. That means a maximum 6 more days for me at work… and just 10 more days total before #2 makes her appearance.
We got an extra bonus when we went for the ultrasound on Tuesday as well… normally the 4D photos don’t work so well this far along, but the tech thought that the conditions looked pretty good and tried the 4D wand… Yeah! We got some bonus 4D photos of baby girl’s face. I haven’t actually scanned them in yet, but here are some cell phone photos of the actual photos… they work fairly well to get the point across…

The cord is running across near her mouth so that’s why that part is a little funny looking… otherwise, she’s just kinda scrunched in there.
