I’ve had lots of fun playing with my camera and my new lens that I got for Christmas… here’s just a few quick photos that I’ve taken… of course, more to come when I get the time!

Not the best pic I’ve taken… but I think it’s cool. Jeremy was outside installing the new doorbell and Nora was playing at the door… so cute!

None of me of course… I’m trying to talk Whit into going out and taking some pics of me, and letting me take some of her for fun… she doesn’t seem all that interested though. We’ll see. I DO need some actual proof that I exist though…

Today we finished up a bit of stocking stuffer shopping and bought a few groceries while Grandma & Grandpa Walliser stayed with the girls. We managed to finish getting all the gifts wrapped… well, with the exception of any clothes that we bought for the girls… but honestly, what 1 year old is going to care about opening up some clothes? Let’s see… we dropped off 2 oversized packages at my parents house so that they are there and waiting for tomorrow morning then took the girls to the Galaxy of Lights… tried yesterday but got there too late and the line to get in was awful! Tonight we got there right as they opened at 5:00 and all went smoothly. We shot video, so if I ever get the chance to download and edit some video, then I’ll share that.

Let’s see… after we got the girls to bed, we finished up the last of the wrapping, popped open a bottle of champagne and relaxed for a bit… oh, and I took that awesome picture of our tree up there (I was super excited to learn how to take such a cool picture with the lights and everything)… A good night!

Can’t wait to see how things go in the morning… hopefully Nora will have a great time tearing open all those packages we wrapped for her!!

ETA: I just realized that it’s already after midnight… so already the 25th… when I spoke of “today” I was really talking about the 24th…

So the other morning I was sitting here with Nora and looked outside and saw a big branch had fallen in the backyard… immediately I thought it would be really cool to take some pictures out there… it’d give NK something to hold on to and hopefully stand up (that didn’t happen by the way).  Soooo… I dressed her up all cute in her red pea coat and super cute hat and took her outside for some pictures.    These are my favorites…

I was able to grab a few shots of Sarah too (not outside of course)… here’s the only one I have ready so far… the others are in the process of being edited a bit then I’ll post more of the little cutie!

I had some fun taking photos of Nora the other night at bath time.  Here’s one that I LOVE!!!  I’ve got others but they are in need of a bit of editing before posting… so once I find some time for that then there will be more.  For now… ENJOY!

The original coloring was awful so I played with the color balance a bit and then used the CoffeeShop Creamy Chocolate B&W action.

Again… I’m behind on blogging, posting photos, etc. Eh… get over it I’m back now with more!

I’ve mostly got photos and a few little stories to go with it all. I’ve been really trying to keep up with my December Daily album for this year… there’s nothing really to show you all just yet but I’ll get there… I promise. Mainly, I’ve just been taking photos and getting them ready to have a whole batch printed at once… and also going ahead and writing down what I want to say for each day because well, if I don’t write it down now then I’ll surely forget it. I am hoping to get the first batch of photos printed one day this week… then hopefully I’ll have some finished pages to show you all here. Hang in there!

Let’s see… what else have we been up to?

Ummm… well, we gave up on trying to put both girls in the same bedroom… Sarah’s crib got moved back into the original nursery last night and we’ll be working on getting the rest of the room set up in the next several days or so. Nora’s room will need a bit of re-arranging due to the extra space that is there now… I think it’ll probably be filled with toys before we realize it. Maybe once I can get the rooms straightened out I’ll share a few photos of the outcome.

Last week we went out to the mall and met up with Julie, Phyllis and the boys. Nora and Aydan got to play in the little play area in the food court and they had a blast!! Nora isn’t so used to playing with other kids so I was a little worried about how it would go, but turns out she did great and she had a wonderful time! Tomorrow I’m taking Nora up to the library for toddler story time where we are going to meet up with Julie and Aydan again. It’ll be lots of fun!

oh and I finally got the chance to try out our new stroller… love it!
