yeah… didn’t get a self portrait this week, but I did get to take the girls’ Valentine’s Day pictures… here are a few…

you thought I had quit already huh?? I know I’m a bit late, but I did actually take my picture last week… just never got a chance to post it. Not the best, but I played around with it a bit and got something that I’m happy with…

So I’ve decided that I’m going to try out this whole Project 52 thing… it’s like doing a Project 365 where you take a photo a day, but instead of daily, this is weekly. I figure I’ll have a better shot at actually taking the photo and sharing it if I only commit to weekly instead of daily. That being said, I may have more than one a week at times, but I’ll at least have one a week. Deal?

Here’s mine for week one… a self portrait… well, because there aren’t many pictures around here of me. My children should be able to look back at photos and see what I looked like and all of that good stuff… so here we go.

I wasn’t sure I believed it would happen again so quickly, but it sure did. We got some more snow here in Alabama… and it’s actually sticking around a bit. Not that it’s much snow at all, but it’s enough to actually call it “snow” and it’s actually cold enough for there to be more this morning. Here’s what our yard looked like Thursday afternoon. It’s actually been snowing a tiny bit each day as well… still coming down (lightly and slowly)…

Let’s see… We did get a chance to get out and play in the snow a bit (well, Nora & I did at least)…

Nora & Sarah got to have a sleepover with Grandma & Grandpa Shepard and Aunt Whitney while Jeremy & I went to see BB King in concert at the VBC. He was great as always but you can definitely tell that he’s getting older (84 now).

We came home and fired up our dear ol’ Tivo and settled in to watch the BCS Championship game!! Wonderful game… wonderful outcome!! ROLL TIDE!!!
