The Wallisers

This weekend was absolutely beautiful!!! Highs in the low 70’s, sunny, perfect weather!
Jeremy’s truck needed desperately to be taken in for servicing… so we got up early, and hit the road – dropped off the truck then headed out to Jones Valley to Another Broken Egg Cafe for breakfast. We had never eaten there before, but had always heard great things about it… they were all true!! Breakfast was delicious! They offer up some giant sized servings though, so be warned if you ever go there!

We then made our way around a few of the stores in the area and then over to Bridge Street where I thought it would be fun to let Nora out of the stroller and walk around a bit. This worked out fairly well… until she had to go back in the stroller. LOL

See that green thing? Underneath is where they hide the speakers that they play music out of... Nora loves music, and would stop and dance at each one that she found.

We finally made it over by the BIG fountain... she enjoyed it too but it was a little hard for Daddy to help her walk around it, so we didn't stay long.

I just love her excitement!!

And after all the running around at Bridge Street, trying to waste time before the shop called to say that Jeremy’s truck was ready… it still wasn’t. So, we headed over to my parents house for a little bit.

Why must there be so many cute options for little girls Easter dresses?? I started out thinking that we’d just do something simple and more casual. Sarah was going to wear a cute green with white polka dots dress that Nora never wore last year, and I was going to get this cute white cotton dress from Old Navy and find a green sweater for Nora.

Bought the dress and everything… was set to go.
Then we were out Saturday trying to kill some time while Jeremy’s truck was at the shop for service and just enjoying the beautiful day… and went to Target. Jeremy found this dress

and wanted to get it… super cute and a little more dressy than the first option, but still nice and do-able. So we bought it and just figured we’d find something a bit dressier for Sarah.
Of course, then we really got ourselves in trouble when we went to Bridge Street… and walked by the window at Gymboree. That place is just horrible on the wallet… but the stuff is just too cute and it’s so hard to resist.
This dress drew me into the store…

So… we considered it and bought them both.
Of course, I couldn’t go and JUST get Easter dresses… Nora and I walked through the store and found these too…

I spent way too much money in Gymboree on just 4 outfits… but I walked out with $100 of Gymbucks… so, they’ve got me again… We’ll go back in April and buy some more stuff.
My girls are going to be the best dressed kids around this spring/summer… haha

So… we were sick here in my house over the past two weeks… everyone except little Sarah (Thank God!!) but now it’s unfortunately been passed along to the Grandparent’s houses. Sorry everyone!!
Anyway, today we found ourselves without a babysitter for the day so Jeremy ended up working from home so that he could be here with them. The plan was for me to come home and watch the girls while Jeremy went to class. So I did… but turns out that UAH canceled classes all week long – and didn’t bother to even post it on their website. Oh well. It did mean that I got to come home and spend a little time with my favorite people
Of course, I had to get a picture!

This is the first time that I’ve sat Sarah in her Bumbo seat that she didn’t cry about it. She actually stayed there, perfectly happy, for a few minutes. She had just eaten though and so proceeded to spit up all over herself, which prompted me to take her out of the seat. Oh well… a little bit at a time is good
